The Roland XS-1HD Multi-Format Matrix Switcher is a versatile, table-top 4-In/4-Out HDMI matrix switcher capable of resolution of up to WUXGA/1080p. The unit offers frame synchronization and scaling on all inputs, while three operational modes provide a variety of applications. Matrix mode allow for switching of four sources to any of four outputs, while Switcher mode allows Picture-in-Picture, key-composting, and dissolve transitions. Split mode allows Picture-in-Picture of up to three inset windows with individual position, size, and layering. The built-in audio mixer allows the HDMI audio and analog stereo input to be mixed. There’s also an “audio follow” function that switches the audio in synchronization with video transitions. The switcher offers sixteen memories allowing for easy recall when needed.
