The DVI Extra Long Range Extender over CAT-5 extends any DVI source to an HD display or other digital signage application up to 330 feet (100 meters). This product uses Gefen ELR technology, delivering uncompressed DVI video to 1920×1200 over a single CAT-5 cable, reducing cable costs and providing easier installation.

Place the DVI Extra Long Range Extender Sender Unit next to the DVI source. Use the included DVI cable to connect the source to the Sender Unit. Connect the Receiver Unit to the display with a DVI cable. Use one CAT-5 cable, up to 330 feet (100 meters), to connect the Sender to the Receiver Unit. Connect the included locking power supplies to the Sender and Receiver Units, and then connect both power cables to available electrical outlets.

The EXTHDMI141SB HDMI Super Booster from Gefen is an HDMI repeater that can be connected to the end of a long HDMI cable or used to chain (2) cables together to allow you to achieve longer distances with cable lengths. It works by regenerating high-definition video and digital audio received from the source and retransmitting the signals.

This repeater is effective when used with distances up to 200′, far more than offered by standard repeaters. It is equipped with HDMI connectors and is HDCP compliant. This unit supports high-definition video up to 1080p and computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200.

The Extender for HDMI 1.3 over CAT5 with Ethernet extends HDMI 1.3 with 3DTV support and Ethernet over a single CAT-5E cable up to 330 feet (100 meters) away from a HDMI or DVI source. This product also provides an IR back channel for relaying IR commands from the display back to the location of the source component(s).

The Extender for HDMI 1.3 over CAT5 with Ethernet Sender unit is connected to the HDMI source with the included 6 foot HDMI cable. The Receiver unit is connected to the HDMI display with a user supplied cable. A single CAT-5E cable of up to 330 feet in length links the Sender and Receiver units. The Ethernet ports of both the Sender and Receiver units are connected to standard network devices such as routers and hubs, or can be connected to Ethernet equipped sources and displays.

The Component Audio Extender will extend Analog Component as well as Analog Audio and Digital Audio via SPDIF or TOSlink. The Component Audio Extender sender unit connects to any component video and audio source using the supplied component and RCA cables. The receiver unit connects to your HDTV component video display and audio input up to 1000 feet. One CAT-5e cable is used to connect the sender to receiver for perfect video extension up to 1080p. The sender and receiver will be powered individually by 5V power supplies.

Displays use EDID – Extended Display Identification Data – to communicate to computers and HDTV sources the array of video resolutions and timings that they are capable of displaying. In certain situations this data can be lost resulting in incorrect display settings, or even a complete loss of video. The DVI Detective Plus solves this problem by ensuring that a correct EDID signal is constantly available to the DVI source – even if the display is switched to a different computer. After the simple EDID recording process is completed, the DVI Detective Plus is placed at the DVI output of the computer’s video card where it will provide the computer with a constant EDID signal. The Detective Plus is equipped with DVI ports, but it is also compatible with VGA through the use of optional adapters.

The DVI Detective Plus provides all the functionality of the DVI Detective N and adds HDCP pass through and the ability to use one of five pre-programmed EDID profiles.

Fast Switching Technology (FST) is a Gefen software implementation for HDMI products. FST was created to improve the lengthy HDMI authentication process, based on the HDMI and HDCP specifications. FST provides quicker A/V source switching and greatly improves the overall A/V system behavior and performance when more than one HDTV display is used in the system setup. FST allows connecting / disconnecting or turning ON / OFF the HDTV displays without having these activities affect other displays in the same distribution system.
