Ki Pro Go 2

Ki Pro GO2 is a portable multi-channel H.265 (HEVC)* and H.264 (AVC) recorder offering up to 4-channels of simultaneous HD or SD recording to qualified USB drives and/or network storage with redundant recording capabilities.

4x 3G-SDI and 4x HDMI digital video inputs with flexible channel assignments provide connections to a wide range of video sources, including any 3G-SDI signal from a router for example, professional and prosumer cameras and DSLRs. Incoming video sources do not have to be genlocked due to Ki Pro GO2’s input frame synchronizers. Ki Pro GO2 also features AJA’s high quality de-interlacers on each input so progressive recordings can be made from interlaced inputs. High quality 2-channel embedded audio or balanced XLR analog audio can be assigned to any recording channel. Multi-Channel Matrix Monitoring enables multiple video channels to be viewed on any single HDMI or SDI display, and Enhanced Super Out offers timecode, media status and audio meter overlays over the SDI and HDMI monitor outputs.

Designed to be either portable or rackmountable with half rack wide, 2RU high dimensions, Ki Pro GO2 is well suited for use in any production environment be it a global concert tour or your local house of worship.

The AJA 12G-AMA is a 4-Channel analog audio embedder/disembedder with support for 12G-SDI input and output up to 4K/UltraHD. Audio is handled through a DB25 to 8 XLR breakout with 4 channels each for embedding and disembedding. Video up to 12G-SDI may be input and output using the SDI BNCs or directly to fiber by adding an optional fiber SFP (not included) to the SFP+ cage.

AJA’s Io 4K Plus is a mobile input and output interface for Thunderbolt 3 systems supporting high quality video productions. 4 ports of 12G-SDI are on board, choose input or output for each depending on your application. HDMI 2.0 input and output are also provided for additional flexibility. An SDI Monitor output is provided for down scaled HD output monitoring of 4k video feeds.

For audio, choose from embedded audio by SDI or HDMI, or use the 25-pin balanced audio connector with standard pin out for 8 channels of audio input or output (or 4 each).

AJA Video’s Ki Pro Ultra 12G is the latest model of the benchmark line of ProRes file recorders. Highlight features included 12G-SDI input available for single-cable 4k input over SDI, and Multi-channel recording sessions will now behave without all sources on Genlock. The rest of the trusted feature set is maintained or improved. Apple ProRes (up to ProRes 4444 XQ) or AVID DNxHD or DNxHR files can be recorded directly to the high performance, reliable PAK Media storage (a PAK1000 drive and Pak Dock Pro are included with rentals). Continuous recording is available by automatically falling over to a fresh drive to continue. Audio can come embedded with the video, or bring balanced analog or AES audio in using the DB25 (XLR Breakouts included).

Input signals are reclocked and equalized before being transmitted. All ancillary data in the signal is passed from the input to the outputs.

Offering a wide range of connection options for both video and audio, this frame synchronizer can do the work of four separate devices in 2K/HD/SD or combine all processors and channels together for maximum flexibility for 4K/UltraHD productivity.

In single channel mode, the synchronizer will upscale your HD or SD materials to 4K/UltraHD and back, with a huge array of audio channels over Fiber, 12G or 3G-SDI, AES, and MADI for an incredible 272 x 208 matrix of audio possibilities. Enhanced Single Channel mode allows simultaneous output at 4K/UHD and downscaled 2K/HD/SD.

Each individual video channel supports analog component or composite, 3G/HD/SD-SDI, Dual-Link, and HDMI I/O inputs/outputs. You can use the FS2 as two separate frame synchronizers/format converters, or the two channels can be linked with the internal keyer to do the work of multiple devices, such as HD sidebar keying where both the video and background graphics are up converted and combined. The AES-11 output can be switched between SILENCE and TONE. All outputs are in sync with each-other and are sourced from an accurate master time base.
