Quality Control Technician: Computer Equipment– Dallas, TX

Rentex Las Vegas, NV has an immediate opening for a full-time Quality Control Technician for Computer Equipment. We offer a great work environment, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefit package (see below for benefits).
In this hands-on technical role, you check and maintain Rentex audio rental equipment and packages.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures on returning equipment
- Clean and maintain cases and equipment
- Correctly process missing or damaged equipment
- Reshelf equipment correctly, with QC tag
- Pull/prep/scan equipment for outbound orders
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Provide exceptional customer support for clients
- Assist in other areas of the QC department as needed
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety
- Follow company processes for QC
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED
- Experience working with professional audio equipment including wireless microphones, digital mixers, wired and wireless intercom systems, powered speakers, and digital snakes.
- Strong technical skills and basic familiarity with audio equipment repair
- Ability to lift fifty pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge in set-up, operation, and troubleshooting AV equipment
- Prior experience in live event production
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Equipment knowledge in disciplines other than audio
- Advanced troubleshooting and equipment repair skills
